THE SPORTS SCIENCE EDUCATOR'S BIO
As an experienced PE teacher with a passion for Sports Science and Academic PE, I hope I can share my resources and learnings from the past 11 years with teachers, schools and students alike. With a proven track record of raising attainment in departments through a commitment to meaningful and passionate practice, I hope to be able to support students and departments reach their goals as well as achieve excellent grades.
Having taught in the UK for two years, I have since taught around the world - Vietnam, Peru and Singapore - being fortunate enough to work in some of the most exceptional schools with incredibly motivated students and colleagues.
Whether your school's resources are basic or unlimited, my approach to SEHS is through exploratory and student-led inquiry, underpinned by quality resources that facilitate independence and autonomy.
My strengths are around coverage of the curriculum and exam technique/the pedagogy of learning, as well as creative and practical thinking to produce exceptional Internal Assessment opportunities and final assessments. My belief is that technology is a crucial tool for staff and students alike, promoting efficiency and the ability to extend what is possible.
